Re: Bugging Out - Theory and Practice
his idea of a bug-out bag was a laptop computer and a digital camera.
Bug out location..... brother in law's house. Got yerself a laptop and a brother in law? preparations are complete. |
Re: Bugging Out - Theory and Practice
About the laptop. I thought about buying one and with it I would download all kinds of survival stuff cause if the internet/power goes out, that info is gone. Power your laptop using batteries charged via solar power.

Re: Bugging Out - Theory and Practice
"Bugging Out" means diff things to diff people.
To me it means donning my backpack and heading for ....... that's a secret. |
Re: Bugging Out - Theory and Practice
Two places not to live, in the path of a hurricane and a flood plan. Katrina supplied both. If you live somewhere that you'll have a good chance to have to bugout from, why live there?
Survival is an instinct, if your instinct tells you you shouldn't be where you are, it's time to move. |
Re: Bugging Out - Theory and Practice
well. I am pretty close to the beach..... and a couple active volcanoes. But at least the population density is LOW here.
Maybe I should store my rice, salt and fuel in a boat? in case of flooding/tsunami I can just head for deep water. |
